These pictures are really more evidence of all the rain I endured when hiking through Maine.

I just Stumbled upon your blog, and I’m very sorry you picked this summer-ish time to start off in Maine. I think we (us Mainers) have seen the wettest spring/summer in years. It sucked living inside a dry home all those months, so it must’ve been brutally sucky hiking and sleeping outside through so much of it!

Definitely sucky at points. I thought Maine was incredibly beautiful but it must be tough to live through the buggy season! Although, I live in Portland, OR and I have to live through eight months of rain, so I’m sure things balance out.
