Great. Yesterday I encountered a cow with a taste for man flesh.

No, that’s just me trying to make Vermont more exciting than it is. The trail goes through a lot of farm country here. Yesterday I hopped 4 barbed-wire fences, walked along the road, and edged my way around a large herd of cows blocking my path. When it got dark, I setup my tent in the woods only to awake the next morning to the sounds of construction.
In short, I’ve been feeling more like a homeless person than a hiker.
