Question: My brother/cousin/friend/grandmother/pet ferret did the 100 mile wilderness and did not have as hard a time as you. Is it possible that you are a wimp?

Answer: Yes. Although we in the wimp community prefer to be called badass challenged.

Actually, there are many stories of people who start out and have a really hard time, but end up doing better as they go on. As I write this, I have just made it through the Mahoosacs, which many people say is one of the hardest parts of the trail. For me, it was piece of cake. Also, I could really, really go for a piece of cake right now.

Here’s to late bloomers!

I find when doing something in a group you have help from everyone and it makes it much easier. When you do it alone its harder but it makes you stronger.
