Here’s a big shout-out to Christy from Lady on a Rock for starting her 600 mile journey on the Pacific Crest Trail. Christy is an ultralight backpacker, who, after some encouragement from her daughter, decided to embark on her own trip. She writes insightful gear reviews, and it will be interesting to see what works out best for her over time. Expect real time trail journals, as she will be updating her blog with her iphone during her hike!
